Sad they are taking her tricycle ; (Well, we have been in Iowa for a few weeks now. Raoule is in his first week of work and we are still unpacking all the boxes. The drive cross country went well. We started off our first night in Vegas (not a very long drive for that one) at the Red Rock Hotel. It was the best experience, they have a daycare onsite and Aurelia had no troubles running off to play while we had dinner and a little gamble. The pool at Red Rock is amazing and Aurelia and I had lots of fun splashing around. I hope to go back again soon!
The next night we stayed in, hmm Colorado I think. That was the most scenic drive we had thru Utah. Driving through Colorado the next day was even more beautiful with mountains and rivers.
After we hit Denver the scenery turned into flatlands. Lots of fields, corn and cows. Aurelia was such a trooper the whole time. She slept and watched dvds of Curious George and Spongebob, thanks to Chelsea for loaning us the dvd player. Poor Aurelia got the sniffles the last day of the trip and later last week the doctor said she had an ear infection! First one ever. Once again, she's such a tuffy and never even showed she was hurting. She loves her medicine though, thankfully. She didn't like me bulbing (sucking) her nose though.
