Well we are back safe from our 3 week long vacation! We went from Omaha-Phoenix-Kauai-Phoenix-Las Vegas-Los Angeles-Phoenix-Omaha. Aurelia was such a trooper and a great traveler! She loved the plane rides and didn't cause a fuss at all.
Hello from Waimea Canyon..she wasnt afraid at all, in fact on some little hikes we had to hold her tight so she wouldn't fall off the edge- hence no smile
We first stayed at a beautiful hotel on the beach the first night, Kauai Beach Resort. Aurelia could play in the 2ft sand pool and of course loved to just leap into daddy's arms into the big pool
The next day my parents flew in and we joined them at the airport. We all drove to Princeville and checked into our coastal condo. Dad gave the ladies leis and Raoule got his shell necklace.
We did so many things, drove to Waimea Canyon, went out on the north shore to snorkel and see the sights, but couldn't snorkel due to the weather ; (. We ate wonderful fish daily, and we took a barge up to the Fern Grotto. Aurelia met some chickens and roosters. All in all it was a great trip and we can't wait to go back...oh ya and Aurelia celebrated Easter at the condo.
